Quick Thoughts: A fun feel-good rock song from the album Diary of a Madman, Ozzy's own personal favorite album. Osbourne, who is sometimes referred to as "the Godfather of Heavy Metal", has stated that the song was actually inspired by his
successful re-emergence as a solo artist after being fired from the band Black Sabbath, the band with which he had rose to fame in the early 1970's. How successful has Ozzy been since? He and Sharon Osbourne are one of the UK's richest couples. They ranked at number 458 in 2005, with an estimated £100 million earned from recording, touring and TV shows.

Having grown up listening to mostly hip-hop, R&B, some alternative,
and all sorts of music in Spanish, I decided it was time to give myself a
personal survey of Rock music. My friend BJ Swanner compiled a "Top
1000 Rock Song List", aggregated from several "Top Lists". As I go
through all 1,000 songs, I'll be creating my own list, sharing a
brief post like this for all the songs that will make my
final list. I will not be ranking the songs that make it to my final
list.....for now.
